Talking to your doctor

EoE can be tough to talk about. But talking to your doctor about how it’s affecting you is an important step in understanding what you’re going through and how best to treat it.

Managing costs: the EOHILIA Patient Support and Copay Program can help

Our EOHILIA Patient Support and Copay Program is designed to support eligible patients on their treatment journey.
Example of the EOHILIA™ digital copay card
Here's how the EOHILIA Patient Support and Copay Program works:
  • Sign up: Eligible commercially insured patients can sign up for a digital copay card. By signing up before going to the pharmacy, Takeda Support Services can help with the insurance authorization process

Note: Commercially insured patients prescribed EOHILIA may receive a one-time 30-day supply at no cost if access is not initially granted by your insurance provider

  • Save: Bring your digital copay card to the pharmacy to start on EOHILIA for as little as $0*†

EOHILIA, like many other medications, will likely need approval by your health insurance company for the prescription to be covered beyond the one-time 30-day supply at no cost. The doctor’s office typically takes 1-2 weeks to complete this process. Stay in touch with your doctor’s office or pharmacist while they work through insurance coverage for EOHILIA.

*Commercially insured patients prescribed EOHILIA may receive a one-time 30-day supply at no cost if access is not initially granted by their payer. Eligible patients may pay as little as $0 if EOHILIA is covered by their commercial insurance, per 30-day supply of EOHILIA, with a max annual benefit of up to $2500 off their copay or out-of-pocket expenses.
